By the Numbers: Day 5 (Summer League, 2023)

Former Sydney King Xavier Cooks is making a big impact at the NBA's Summer League, with another big performance on Wednesday, Australian time.

Cooks had 16 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 blocks in the Wizards' clash against the San Antonio Spurs, including two big stops late in the fourth quarter. 

The NBL23 MVP has now averaged 13.5 points and 8.5 rebounds in two appearances at the tournament.

DJ Vasiljevic also enjoyed his first appearance for the Wizards, knocking down a three in four minutes of game-time. 

Fellow Australian Duop Reath again stood tall for the Portland Trail Blazers, with 12 points and 9 rebounds, to go along with a strong line of 2 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks.

Reath played 23 minutes in the Blazers' win over Charlotte, lining up alongside former Next Star Rayan Rupert, who saw eight minutes of action. 

Dyson Daniels continued his good form with 10 points, 3 rebounds, 8 assists and 3 blocks. 

The Pelicans enjoyed a nine-point win over the Charlotte Hornets, with Daniels playing 30 minutes.
