Brisbane Bullets big man Tyrell Harrison is set to miss the next six to eight weeks due to a knee injury.

Harrison suffered the injury at training this week.

The 23-year-old has been a strong performer this season, opening up in the past few days about his struggles with a serious elbow injury.

The Bullets face a shortage of talls for Sunday's clash against the New Zealand Breakers at Spark Arena in Auckland, with Aron Baynes also ruled out due to back soreness.

Baynes is expected to be available for Brisbane's next game, against Perth at home at Nissan Arena on Thursday to open Round 9.

Development players Matt Johns and Hunter Clarke will come into the Bullets lineup.
