Bullets confirm star signing

Thursday, January 2, 2025
"Josh is an experienced player in this league and a fearless competitor."
The Brisbane Bullets have confirmed the signing of Josh Adams as a nominated injury replacement.
The club announced the news on Thursday afternoon, bringing in the former Tasmania JackJumpers star to replace James Batemon.
“Josh is an experienced player in this league and a fearless competitor. To add someone of his talent and character at this stage of the season will undoubtedly help our position on the ladder. We’re confident he will make an immediate impact both on and off the court,” Senior Basketball Advisor Stu Lash said.
Head Coach Justin Schueller echoed those thoughts.
“Josh’s ability to perform under pressure and his versatility make him a perfect fit for our system. He’s a dynamic player who knows how to win, and his winning experience will be a huge asset as we make a playoff push. The team is excited to welcome him, and I have no doubt our fans will love seeing him back in action,” he said.
Adams averaged 16.6 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists during the NBL22 campaign, playing a starring role in the JackJumpers' run to the Championship Series.
The 31-year-old is expected to suit up for the Bullets’ upcoming home game, this Saturday against the Sydney Kings.
