Brisbane adds championship-winning big

Friday, April 19, 2024
Tohi Smith-Milner has signed a two-year contract with the Brisbane Bullets.
Tohi Smith-Milner will represent the fourth club of his NBL career next season, after agreeing to a two-year deal with the Brisbane Bullets, with the second season containing a club option.
Smith-Milner will head to the Bullets off the back of one season with Adelaide and two seasons with South East Melbourne, prior to which he spent five seasons with Melbourne United, including the 2018 NBL title.
The 28-year-old has played a total of 141 times in the NBL across eight seasons and averages 2.2 points per game.
The New Zealand international is currently playing for NZNBL side Wellington this off-season.
"Tohi is an athlete with huge potential that we believe is ready to have an impact in this league,” Brisbane coach Justin Schueller said.
“His ability to space and stretch the floor with his shooting, IQ and versatility makes him a key piece to our roster build.
“Tohi has championship experience, and we look forward to what he will provide our program this season.”
Smith-Milner is Brisbane's second new signing of free agency so far, following the news former Illawarra Hawk Deng Adel had signed with the club.
