"It feels amazing to be feeling how I am physically after everything I've been through."

Three-time NBL champion Casey Prather has put his horror run of knee injuries behind him and is now thriving with a clean bill of health.

Prather’s Bullets debut in January marked his first professional game since June 2021, after a constant battle with his knee.

The 33-year-old has regenerated his fitness base during his time in Brisbane and he showcased how dangerous he still is with a 31-point performance against Perth last week, his highest points total since December 2016.

"It feels amazing to be feeling how I am physically after everything I've been through. Any time I can go out there and do the thing that I love the most, it's a great feeling," Prather told the Bullets’ website

"I'm just very blessed to be able to continue playing basketball and my body's feeling good, and I've taken all the steps in order to get my body right. So now it's just a matter of showcasing it and getting some more wins for this team."

Brisbane enters Round 11 with a 4-7 record and ninth on the ladder, making every game from here crucial if it wants to climb into the Finals.

Prather and the Bullets host the Adelaide 36ers on Friday night at 7:30pm AEDT, live on ESPN.
