Thursday, October 12, 2023
Aron Baynes will face the Tribunal.
The Hungry Jack’s National Basketball League advises the Game Review Panel (GRP) has completed its assessment of Saturday night's Brisbane Bullets v Cairns Taipans game, and has handed down the following sanctions:
Bullets’ player Aron Baynes has been referred directly to a Single Member Tribunal.
The Tribunal will sit at 7pm AEDT on Thursday, October 12.

Taipans’ player Lat Mayen was charged with striking.
The incident has been assessed as a one-game suspension, reduced to a $1550 fine with an early guilty plea.
The panel deemed the incident as intentional, high contact and low impact.
Mayen has accepted an early guilty plea and is available to play in Cairns’ next NBL game on October 26 against Illawarra.
Taipans’ coach Adam Forde was cleared of any wrongdoing.
The Brisbane Bullets were issued an official warning after Bullets’ Senior Basketball Advisor, Stu Lash, made public comments about Cairns Taipans' coach Adam Forde and the NBL’s ongoing investigation into the game.
