Vasiljevic comments under review

Basketball Australia (BA) has confirmed Adelaide 36ers guard Dejan Vasiljevic’s comments regarding the officiating after the club’s loss to the New Zealand Breakers last Thursday are under review.

While the comments did not go to air, Basketball Australia “is reviewing the comments to determine if he (Vasiljevic) is in breach of the BA Code of Conduct”.

ESPN’s Olgun Uluc reported Vasiljevic has been issued a “please explain” for the comments.

Vasiljevic has been in headlines this week after criticising the NBL schedule after the club’s defeats on the road to New Zealand and Tasmania.

Adelaide is back on court on Saturday night at home against the Cairns Taipans.
