The player: Parker Jackson-Cartwright (G) NZ $377,700
The moment: Parker Jackson-Cartwright equalled his second-lowest SuperCoach score, just a round after having 18 against Melbourne United. In the loss to the Tasmania JackJumpers, Jackson-Cartwright ended with 11 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists for 25 SuperCoach points. Fortunately, he returned to the PJC that owners have come to expect, scoring a solid 39 SuperCoach points in the loss to the Adelaide 36ers. Can he string together two good games over a round again soon?

The player: Casey Prather (G/F) BRI $339,300
The moment: The resurgence of Casey Prather has been a story that all fans have loved in NBL25. After having an average start to the season, Prather has stepped it up for the Brisbane Bullets since the FIBA Break. Despite having a negative score for most of the first half against the South East Melbourne Phoenix, Prather had an efficient second half, ending the game with a respectable 24 SuperCoach points. He finished with 45 SuperCoach points in Sunday’s loss to the Sydney Kings, ending the round with 69 SuperCoach points, the second highest score of Round 12.

The player: Tyrell Harrison (C) BRI $324,400
The moment: Tyrell Harrison was dominant for the Brisbane Bullets in the win against the South East Melbourne Phoenix, scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds, enough for 43 SuperCoach points. Harrison couldn’t back it up against the Sydney Kings, with two early first quarter fouls impacting his court time. He ended that game with 15 SuperCoach points. After ending Round 12 with 58 SuperCoach points, Harrison is a serviceable pick for the center position for now.

The player: Jack White (F) MEL $336,600
The moment: SuperCoach NBL fan favourite Jack White was a popular captain and trade in target for Round 12, making it a less than ideal round for White to have his third and fourth-lowest rebound totals for the season. White scored 13 points and grabbed just 4 rebounds in the loss to the Illawarra Hawks, for 29 SuperCoach points. He backed this up with only 8 points and 5 rebounds in the second loss for the weekend, against cross town rivals the South East Melbourne Phoenix. The consequential drop in price will make it harder for owners to fund prime trade targets, Montrezl Harrell and Kendric Davis.

The player: Bryce Cotton (G) PER $483,300
The moment: Bryce Cotton sellers may have gotten excited at the start of Saturday’s game against the Cairns Taipans after his extremely slow start. Cotton ended up continuing his historic scoring streak, scoring 44 points and a huge 66 SuperCoach points. This extends his streak to four games with 40-plus points, a feat not seen since Andrew Gaze in 1991. Cotton still remains a slight cash cow, but he is by far the simplest way to acquire Montrezl Harrell or Kendric Davis.

The player: Kendric Davis (G) ADL $528,600
The moment: Kendric Davis should be the number one trade target for any owners who haven’t already jumped on the train. Davis hit a new high of $528,600 and is the highest priced player for SuperCoach NBL25. Davis ended Round 12 on a monster 62 SuperCoach points. He now has three consecutive 60 SuperCoach point games, with all of these scores within the top 50 in the modern 40-minute era. With an awesome schedule ahead, he should be a higher priority than Montrezl Harrell.

The player: Montrezl Harrell (F/C) ADL $427,000
The moment: Montrezl Harrell is back. After returning from suspension, Harrell picked up where he left off in a win against the New Zealand Breakers. Harrell ended the game with 21 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for 46 SuperCoach points, his second-highest score of the season. With a favourable upcoming schedule, Harrell is a premium trade-in option, alongside teammate Kendric Davis.

The player: Xavier Cooks (F) SYD $375,400
The moment: Xavier Cooks was a star for the Sydney Kings in a hard fought win against the Brisbane Bullets in Round 12. Cooks contributed 25 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. With three minutes remaining in the game, Cooks got his 10th rebound, having missed out on the double-double bonus in the three rounds prior; this lead to an impressive 49 SuperCoach points for Round 12. Cooks is a genuine alternative to Montrezl Harrell for Round 13, but will be a one week rental only.

The player: Jaylen Adams (G) SYD $371,200
The moment: Jaylen Adams has been an under the radar player for the Sydney Kings since the FIBA Break. Adams recorded 32 points, 4 assists and 2 rebounds in a massive win against the Brisbane Bullets. This was good enough for a second consecutive 48 SuperCoach point game. Jaylen Adams is a genuine discount alternative to Kendric Davis for players who may not have enough cash to bring in the Adelaide 36ers guard.

The player: Nathan Sobey (G) SEM $355,200
The moment: Nathan Sobey was the pick of the round for SuperCoach players for Round 12. He recorded 25 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the loss to the Brisbane Bullets, for 37 SuperCoach points. However the game against crosstown rivals Melbourne United was the highlight of Sobey’s season. He ended the game with 22 points, 7 assists, 5 rebounds and 2 blocks, but also recorded a career-high 6 steals. His 6 steals and 2 blocks were worth 24 SuperCoach points alone. Sobey was captained by the SuperCoach Round 12 winner, which is not surprising as he was 29 points clear of the next best of the round.

The player: Derrick Walton (G) SEM $192,400
The moment: Derrick Walton Jr’s return from illness was key for South East Melbourne in their Throwdown win against Melbourne United. Despite showing some rust with six turnovers, Walton was great in the second half, finishing with 14 points, 7 assists and 6 rebounds. This was good enough for 31 SuperCoach points. He is a great fourth guard option to ride your SuperCoach bench.
