Star Injury Updates for Perth, Sydney, Tassie

Perth Wildcats star Luke Travers has been ruled out of Saturday night’s clash with the Sydney Kings due to illness.

Michael Harris will come into the 11-man line-up for Perth in Travers’ absence.

Travers is averaging 8.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.1 steals per game for the Wildcats this season.

Kings star point guard Derrick Walton Jr will play on Saturday night after he missed their last game, but Jaylin Galloway will be a game-time decision due to shoulder soreness.

Walton Jr is a key inclusion for Sydney as he scores 16.5 points and dishes out 6.6 assists for the league leaders.

There is also injury news out of Tasmania with the JackJumpers welcoming back Matt Kenyon and Sam McDaniel to the active roster for tomorrow’s clash with Melbourne United.

Kenyon hasn’t played since November 5 while it will be McDaniel’s first game since November 18.

The JackJumpers and United will meet at 5:30pm AEDT on Saturday followed by the Kings and Wildcats at 8:00pm AEDT.
