Sports fans will get to experience a dynamic new basketball show on Sunday when the Hungry Jack’s National Basketball League (NBL) returns to Network 10’s main channel for the NBL Sprint.
The innovative format comprises a condensed version of the first three quarters of the Grand Final (Game 2) between the Sydney Kings and Tasmania JackJumpers, followed by the final quarter live - free and in high definition on Channel 10.
“We are absolutely thrilled to be back on Network 10’s main free-to-air channel,” Hungry Jack’s NBL Commissioner Jeremy Loeliger said.
“We are always looking for innovative ways to deliver engaging content to our fans and in a world where many of us are time-poor, NBL Sprint delivers a fantastic way for those who might have missed the start of the game or don’t have time to watch a full game, the chance to get up to speed with all the highlights and best bits from the first three periods of play, before joining the action in the vital fourth quarter, live.
“To be back on free to air, in prime-time and in high-definition is a testament to the league’s growth and the groundswell of fan interest over the past few years.
“We thank Network 10 for its support, and of course, you can always watch the full game on ESPN via Foxtel and Kayo Freebies.”
NBL Sprint will air at 3:30pm (AEST) on Sunday on Channel 10.
