NBA Hall of Famer joins Bullets’ ownership

The Brisbane Bullets have announced former NBA Hall of Fame George Gervin has joined the club’s ownership group.

Gervin, a nine-time NBA All-Star, will work with GameAbove Sports to acquire an ownership stake in the in Bullets. 

“Basketball has always been my passion, and to be part of a franchise like the Brisbane Bullets is an incredible opportunity,” Gervin said. 

“Australia has a rich basketball culture, and the Bullets have a storied legacy. I look forward to helping elevate the team and build toward a bright future, especially with the upcoming Olympics in Brisbane.”

Gervin scored an incredible 26,595 points during his time in the NBA and ABA.

GameAbove Sports, a company focused on global sports business development and strategic investments, has announced its acquisition of an ownership stake in the Brisbane Bullets, a premier team in Australia’s National Basketball League (NBL).
