The Sydney Kings’ Game 1 victory in the Grand Final series may have come at a major cost, with MVP Jaylen Adams suffering a left hamstring injury.
Adams limped off the court early in the fourth quarter while grabbing at his left hamstring. He was spotted after the game with ice around the hamstring.
Kings coach Chase Buford admitted the club needs to play the waiting game on if Adams will be available for Game 2.
“No updates at the moment, we’ll have to see how he turns out tomorrow,” Buford said.
It is just a 48-hour turnaround to Game 2 on Sunday afternoon in Tasmania. Adams led Sydney in scoring with 18 points in the 95-78 win.
