“This is an important and positive signing for the club."
The Brisbane Bullets have announced Tyrell Harrison has re-signed with the club on a two-year deal, a decision that has been in the works for some time.
As he prepares for his eighth season with the Bullets, the New Zealand international cements his position as the longest-serving player on the roster.
Harrison enters NBL25 at the peak of his game, coming of the best season of his 113-game career, showcasing his talents by participating in all but one game, averaging 9.6 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks, establishing himself as the starting center.
Coach Justin Schueller expressed his enthusiasm for Harrison’s extension.
“This is an important and positive signing for the club. Tyrell has done the work and shown he can be a key piece to our now and also the future,” Schueller said.
“He has consistently developed his craft through his daily habits, and we look forward to knowing he will continue that journey with us for some time.
“We are excited to keep adding pieces to our core that we know will allow us to build and sustain success in the future.”
Senior Basketball Advisor Stu Lash added to the excitement of the new deal.
“Securing Tyrell for another two years is a testament to our long-term vision for the team. His journey with us has demonstrated not only his talent but also his leadership both on and of the court. We are excited to witness his continued growth and contributions to the Brisbane Bullets,” Lash said.
Harrison is looking forward to staying in Brisbane.
“This is another milestone for me. I’ve invested so much into my development at the Bullets, and I’m eager to contribute to the team’s future success. It’s a privilege to continue my journey here, and I’m committed to helping us achieve our goals,” he said.
