Drmic re-signs with JackJumpers

"I’m really happy to be coming back. This season was one of the best I have had both on and off the floor."

Anthony Drmic will continue his JackJumpers tenure into NBL25, following the announcement the gutsy wing has signed a new one-year deal.

Drmic arrived at the JackJumpers following two seasons at the Bullets, sandwiched between a pair of stints with the Adelaide 36ers, and quickly became one of Scott Roth’s most trusted players on the roster.

Of the 37 games he played for Tasmania this season, he registered 36 starts.

The newly crowned NBL champion averaged 6.8 points and a career-high 4.7 rebounds per game across the title-winning campaign.

"I’m really happy to be coming back. This season was one of the best I have had both on and off the floor," Drmic said.

"My family absolutely loves Tasmania and the state holds an extra special place in our hearts, given we had our second son here in February, so we’re thrilled to have some stability and continue our journey here."

Earlier on Saturday, the JackJumpers confirmed a contract extension for Jack McVeigh, who will remain with the club until at least the end of NBL27.
