Bannan to declare for NBA Draft

Brisbane star Josh Bannan has confirmed he will declare for the NBA Draft, following an exceptional debut season in the NBL.

Bannan worked out with the Indiana Pacers prior to his rookie campaign with the Brisbane Bullets, and was one of the Boomers’ top performers in their recent FIBA Asia Cup qualifiers against Indonesia and South Korea.

“My name will be going into the draft this year,” Bannan told News Corp.

“I had that workout (with the Pacers) and I felt like I did a great job, and I feel confident I could stick it at that level.”

Bannan started all 19 games he played for the Bullets this past season, and averaged 11.9 points and 10.2 rebounds per game, and he ended the campaign with a season-high 29 points on 12-14 shooting.
